
Edutainment Pass Program
Big Break Foundation is proud to announce a program for IAAPA that will help break down barriers for students and recent graduates interested in learning more about the Location-Based Experience Industry.
Through our program, we will sponsor several annual IAAPA Student memberships, benefits including educational seminars, networking opportunities, and more. In addition, Big Break Foundation sponsored student membership will include admission to the 2021 IAAPA Expo.
We encourage any aplicants facing barriers of any kind and who aligns with our values of promoting Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility within the industry and community to apply.

Awardees to receive:

International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo Student Sponsorship includes 2021 expo badges, sessions, networking opportunities, and the latest products and services.

International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Student Membership Sponsorship includes 2022 student membership to access industry news, sessions, events, and an industry database to make connections.
Eligibility:
Any person - no matter their gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, disability, and faith- is welcome to apply

Attend, virtually or in person, to the IAAPA Expo Monday, November 15 through Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL

Applicants must be at least 18 years old

Applicants must have residency in the United States

Applicants must be a student enrolled part-time or full-time in a higher education institution within three years of graduation from your Bachelor’s Program or enrolled in a Master’s Program with completion in 3 years or less
OR
A recent graduate within 3 years post graduation.

We strongly encourage applicants from underrepresented groups from diverse disciplines

Awardees will participate in post expo focus groups and surveys

Complete application providing basic contact information and qualifying questions

Statement or Video on the applicant’s interest in the Location-Based Experience/Themed Entertainment Industry and respectively why and how the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Annual Expo will benefit you

Proof of academic enrollment
Selection Criteria:

Preference is given to applicants from an underrepresented group, as defined by Big Break Foundation.

Priority will be given to first-time and in-person attendees

Participate in an interview the week of October 25, if required
Important Dates:
Submission Open: Tuesday, October 12, 2021
Deadline: Wednesday, October 27, 2021
Interviews, if required: Week of October 25
Award Notification: Friday, October 29, 2021
