About
Stacia Meconiates is a creative technologist specializing in accessible interactive multimedia. With a background in music composition and sound design, he transitioned into creative technology and audiovisual programming after being diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. This shift helped spark a commitment to designing experiences that prioritize inclusion and personal embodiment in human-computer interaction. His work blends audiovisual softwares, traditional programming languages, and sensor-based interactive systems to create immersive environments accessible to a wide range of physical abilities. Stacia has collaborated with organizations including ArtsCultureArizona, Arizona State University, LightSwitch, and PhxForge. He is open to both short and long term projects, as well as relocation both to a variety of US states and international locales.
