Role Description
The Production Specialist is responsible for supporting the development of educational videos, promo videos, and virtual events from pre-production to post-production. Key responsibilities include video editing, captioning, and live streaming support.
Anticipated commitment is 3-5 hours per week.
Responsibilities

Support the live production of Big Break’s virtual events, including the IDEA Exchange series, from concept to completion. This consists of setting and managing the live stream across various platforms, moderating audience participation, and troubleshooting issues as needed.

Edit and caption virtual events, educational videos, and promotional videos.

Collaborate with marketing team to ensure videos align with Big Break’s brand voice and design guidelines.

Manage video project files, organize assets, and maintain a well-structured digital library.

Collaborate on and support additional digital production projects as needed.
Qualifications

Experience producing live virtual events, such as webinars, conferences, and live classes.

Proficiency in editing videos in Canva, Vimeo or equivalent software. Proficiency in advanced video editing tools such as Adobe Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro a plus.

Familiarity with video accessibility best practices or willingness to learn. Includes closed captioning, video transcripts, color contrast, and more.

A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

This is a professional volunteer position with an anticipated commitment of 3-5 hours per week. As a Digital Production Specialist, you will play an essential role in supporting Big Break Foundation's mission.
