The Essential Art Department (TEAD) Scholarship Program provides emerging professionals within the Location-Based Experience industry with a 50% scholarship fo TEAD courses beginning March 20, 2024.

What Are Location-Based Experiences?
The industry at large has various names, including Themed Entertainment, Location-Based Entertainment, Attractions, and Travel & Leisure. Big Break Foundation identifies amusement and theme parks, museums, water parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers, family entertainment centers, live events, performing arts, immersive experiences, and industry vendors/suppliers as the Location-Based Experience Industry.
What Is an Emerging Professional?
Big Break Foundation defines "emerging professionals" as students, early career professionals, and those who are pivoting from another career or re-entering the workforce after a long absence.

One 50% scholarship for the base course tuition will be awarded per course beginning with SketchUp for Storytellers on March 20, 2024.
This is a (6) week intensive course with Instructor-led live sessions. Originally priced at $415, Big Break will fund half the cost of enrollment (not including applicable taxes and fees) for one scholarship recipient.

Priority will be given to first-time TEAD students.
Priority will be given to applicants from non-traditional educational backgrounds, as defined by the National Center for Education Statistics.
