About
Ever since I was a child, theme parks have been my sanctuary—a place of joy and wonder during challenging times. I was gifted passes to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and Universal Studios as a reward for enduring a rare skin condition and multiple surgeries from just 9 months old. These magical experiences sparked my passion for the stories and creativity behind the attractions. As a young dreamer, I sketched ride ideas and handed them to cast members at the Guest Relations office in Main Street, believing they would reach Walt Disney himself.
In college, I rekindled my love for themed entertainment by joining UCSD's Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). I began as a scare actor and fabricator for haunted mazes, progressed to Marketing Lead, and eventually became Art Director. These experiences shaped my creativity and leadership, and a near-death lupus attack during my second year gave me clarity and purpose: to dedicate my life to creating the magic that has always brought me so much joy.
I solidified my passion through hands-on projects like the Ryerson Thrill Design Competition and my leadership as TEA President. Post-graduation, I joined the Ignite Program through Big Break Foundation, attended IAAPA for career development, and received a scholarship for Designing for Themed Entertainment & Experiences by The Essential Art Department. I expanded my skills with a TEAD SketchUp course and took on roles as Social Media Coordinator for KITE, an emerging themed entertainment conference, and Art Director/Graphic Designer for Big Break Foundation. I am also under mentorship with P+A's Mason Schultz through the IAAPA mentorship program.
Now, I’m eager to bring this lifelong passion, resilience, and dedication to the themed entertainment industry, contributing to immersive experiences that inspire and delight audiences worldwide. Let’s connect and create magic together!
