About
I am a 4th Year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Virginia with a strong interest in the engineering, design, and development of themed entertainment experiences—particularly ride systems, roller coasters, and emerging attraction technologies. Through two summers of engineering experience at Huntington Ingalls Industries, NASA’s L’SPACE Mission Concept Academy, and various mechanical design projects, I have developed experience in CAD modeling, finite element analysis, mechanical systems evaluation, technical problem-solving, and multidisciplinary engineering.
My involvement in the themed entertainment industry extends beyond the classroom. I previously served as an AIMS International Student Ambassador, where I supported international ride safety seminars and engaged with professionals working in amusement ride safety, standards, and operations. At UVA, I now serve as Co-President of the Theme Park Engineering Group, helping expand opportunities for students to explore attraction design, industry competitions, professional development, and connections with engineers and creatives throughout the themed entertainment field.
Ultimately, I hope to combine my mechanical engineering background with my interests in ride development, creative design, guest experience, and safety to help bring ambitious attraction concepts to life. I am especially excited by opportunities that bridge technical engineering with the creative vision, storytelling, and collaboration that make themed entertainment experiences memorable.
