About the event

Join us for a special presentation by Bridgewater Studio's Chris Wilson

Showbiz: A Tutorial, A Tale in Four Acts

What do rock and roll, theatre school, gunpowder, David Copperfield, Nickelodeon, Broadway, presidential conventions, museums, and the Obama Presidential Center have in common? Me, somehow.

This is a story about taking weird opportunities, getting comfortable with uncertainty, building a career nobody could have planned, and learning that luck isn't random. It's something you can create. If you've ever wondered how to turn unexpected twists into your biggest advantage, this one's for you.

About Chris Wilson

Chris Wilson is Chief Creative Officer at Bridgewater Studio, where he leads the design and delivery of experiential environments at the intersection of storytelling, space, and technology. His work is grounded in a simple belief: every decision in the built environment tells a story, whether it was intended to or not.

Inclusive design is central to his philosophy. Accessibility is not a box to check at the end of a project. It is a creative constraint that leads to better ideas and richer experiences for everyone.

His projects have earned dozens of awards, including two THEA Awards, and he earned an Emmy

nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Special Visual Effects. His work has spanned themed entertainment, live television, museums, cultural institutions, and major public projects, but the throughline has remained the same: bring together story, technology, and craftsmanship to create

experiences that people remember.

About Bridgewater Studio

Bridgewater Studio is an end-to-end partner helping brands, corporate clients, and cultural institutions around the world deliver immersive audience experiences infused with story and purpose.

The most successful brand activations, museum exhibits, and experiential events don’t win by accident. They win by crushing creative and technical challenges at every stage of the project life cycle – from strategy to design, engineering, production, installation, and beyond.

That’s why we own the entire process under one roof.
