Role Description

The Social Media Specialist will play a key role in enhancing Big Break’s online presence by creating and managing engaging content across various social media platforms. The specialist will be responsible for crafting compelling posts, growing our audience, and increasing engagement to help spread awareness of our mission.

Anticipated commitment is 3-5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a social media strategy in alignment with Big Break’s mission and goals.

• Develop and schedule engaging content for our social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn).

• Create graphics, videos, and other visual content.

• Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages.

• Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.

• Research and implement social media best practices to enhance engagement and reach.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and creating content for social media platforms in a professional capacity.

• Graphic design experience using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar platforms.

• Strong writing skills and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Ability to work  independently and as part of a team.

• Passion for promoting inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in the Location-Based Experience industry.

This is a professional volunteer position with an anticipated commitment of 3-5 hours per week. As a Social Media Specialist, you will play an essential role in supporting Big Break Foundation's mission.
